Baby Trend Stroller terrible design, terrible customer service

My husband and I bought the running stroller for $200+ and within a month it broke - couldn't fold it up any longer.We'd bought the "extended warranty" with Babies R Us which does NOTHING for you.

Once the stroller breaks you have to contact Baby Trend and their policy is that you have to BUY another one, send in your receipt, and then they'll reimburse you the cost.But if you want to return the stroller - as in NOT have to buy another one - you're *** out of luck b/c they won't pay you!

Received the baby Trend jogger system Expedition as a baby shower gift back in Aug 2011 did not take the stroller out of the box till this month as it snows all winter in IL so we had no need to take it out in the snow for a jog.The foot holder was missing on front of stroller looks as if it was ever there.

Called Baby Trend they basically were rude and said there is nothing they can do because it is 17 days pass there warrenty. 17 days I explained it is a safety issue child could get ther foot caught in the wheel they said not there problem but would be glad to send one if I would like to give them my credit card number they would charge me for the part and shipping. Since it was a gift no receipt so Baby Trend said I was just out of luck refused to trasfer me to a manager said the do not have managers that take calls I could just mail a letter. UGG New mommies do not buy from Baby Trend they do not care about the safety of your baby.

I must say I have 3 children and delt with several compies through the years for faulty items and never came across one that could care less about the safety of your child.

Unbelievable!!!Terrible, Terrible customer service.
